The packaging materials division manufactures and supplies a wide range of packaging items of different materials and for different uses. We offer all possible kinds of packaging materials: cardboard boxes, PE Foils , Stretch Foils, Bubble Foils, PO Foils, strapping tapes, adhesive tapes, PE foam, polystyrene and many other packaging items. 

Stretch Foils

Stretch foils replace fixation of goods with strapping tapes or pallet bags, especially for packing of goods on pallets. Manual stretch foils, machine stretch foils, stretch foil accessories. NEW - FP Elit 

Multilayer, ultra-thin stretch foil with excellent strength parameters.


Thanks to a special input material and top production technology the FP Elit foil has superior strength properties even at low thicknesses (of only8 mm). The foil will not tear on the corners and sharp edges and safely protects the packaged goods during transport and storage.

Moreover, thanks to its low thickness, you will consume much lower amounts of foil, thus saving not only the environment (producing less waste), but also reducing the costs of packaging goods.

LDPE Heat-Shrinkable Foil

Advantages of using PE foil

Polyolefin heat shrinkable foils  provide a unique appearance of the packaged goods. Due to their exceptional strength, elasticity and shape memory effect they are suitable for protection and packaging of grouped products.

 HEAT-SHRINKABLE FOILS

  • made of several concurrently extruded layers of 100% polyolefin,
  • packaging of non-food and food products,
  • foil can be equipped with the recycling symbol or custom-printed.

Characteristics of  heat-shrinkable foil:

  1. cross-linked molecular structure, which makes it possible to produce an ultra thin foil with excellent resistance to wear

Heat Shrinkable Foils

These foils are versatile polyolefin films for packaging. The unique properties of these foils are achieved by mikrovrstvení technology. Unlike conventional 1-, 3- or 5-layer foils, these foils have 25 - 50 separate microlayers. The ability to create a high number of layers allows a significant increase in the mechanical resistance of the foil while improving workability compared to often much thicker foils, which are produced by conventional technologies. Greater resistance means more weight saving on packaging per packaged unit.

Bubble Wrap foil

Bubble foil is made of low-density polyethylene. It is a modern, clean, easy to use and flexible packaging material. It is suitable for many packaging applications - from surface protection and interleaving up to creation of protective cushions and empty space packing.


Bubble wrap foil consists of low-densityen microlayers, and the middle layer consists of a special nano-barrier which prevents air leakage even during prolonged foil load. We can use bubble foil with reduced thickness and with excellent quality properties such as

Pack Universe uses a wide range of bubble wraps - bubble films with bubbles of various sizes, light bubble wraps and above-standard wraps. We use all bubble wraps (e.g. with aluminium, paper, polyethylene),  or improve their protective properties with various additives (anti-corrosive, antistatic, etc.).

Proplast

Proplast is alveolar polypropylene boards. It is a modern, environmentally friendly alternative to disposable packages made of extruded polypropylene. Proplast is suitable for ultrasonic welding, hot bending, mechanical joining and punching. It serves as inserts, boxes, grids, fixtures, etc. Proplast is harmless, does not absorb moisture, is easy to wash, and suitable for direct contact with food.

It serves to manufacture reusable packages - boxes, protective packages, layers. It is fully recyclable.Proplast has high strength, toughness, and low weight. It maintains its excellent mechanical properties, especially the overall stability. It is chemical resistant (against acids, chemical salts ...), water resistant, and weatherproof.

Proplast is suitable for ultrasonic sealing, hot bending, mechanical joining and perforating.

Strapping

VARIOUS STRAPPING OPTIONS

Strapping tapes are used to fix or tie finished industrial products, individual cardboards or goods on pallets. PP strapping tapes are made of polypropylene, EPP strapping tapes are embossed polypropylene tapes with high elongation (about 28%) and retrospective memory. Polyester PET strapping tapes are characterized by high strength. Polyester (PES) strapping tapes are a modern and environmentally friendly substitute for steel straps.

Polyurethane foam is great protection for your products. The polyurethane foam is injected into special bags, where the solidification increases its volume, flows around the product and fills the free space in the cardboard box in which the product is stored. Foams are divided by density and method of application.

Cardboard and Paperboard

We manufacture corrugated cardboard packages according to FEFCO catalogue as tailor-made solutions for customers. We make flapped boxes, lid boxes, grids, fixtures, group packages and special packages. Corrugated cardboard packages can be printed with four-color printing. Thanks to the designer’s centre we are able to design, produce and deliver even the most demanding solutions. We also offer corrugated board in the form of sheets.

ANTISTATIC PACKAGES MADE OF CORRUGATED CARDBOARD


We produce unique antistatic (ESD, dissipative) multilayer corrugated cardboard packaging. To produce these packages we use a unique, proprietary ESD material that dissipates unwanted electrostatic charge away from packaged products. Our antistatic corrugated cardboard packages have a resistance of 107 Ω / m2, resp. 104 Ω / m2 (depending on the material used). The advantage of ESD corrugated cardboard packaging is the elimination of the need for additional ESD packaging (foils, foams, etc.), thereby significantly reducing labour intensity and packaging costs.

For our customers, we produce a complete range of antistatic paper packages made of three-, five- and seven-layer corrugated cardboard, such as boxes, grids, fixings or interlays.

BOXES

Wooden boxes for transport packaging provide excellent protection for products against damage, loss and adverse weather conditions.

The design of boxes is based on the documentation provided by the customer, or uses its own design program (based on Czech packaging standards and using packaging processes based on German HPE standards). The basic input parameters are the weight of the load, the dimensions of the packaged product and the internal dimensions of the box. Also taken into account are the customer's requirements for material, stackability, handling or transport method. Signature for the boxes according to international conventions and customer request is a matter of course.


There are three basic types of boxes, according to the type of material

1) All-wooden boxes

All-wooden boxes are wooden containers of the highest quality. Floor and walls are usually made of unplaned boards. Timber used for boxes is dried or with natural humidity.

2) Plywood boxes

The packaging consists of wooden floor and walls, which are formed by wooden bearing parts with plywood coating of different widths - typically plywood of thickness 9, 12 or 15 mm. If required, the structure can be manufactured as small all-plywood (NonWood), eliminating the need for a heat treatment certificate

3) OSB boxes

The packaging consists of wooden floor and walls, which are formed by wooden bearing parts with OSB coating of different widths – typically of thickness 9, 12 or 15 mm.

CASING               

Casing or crating constitutes a compromise between the need to adequately protect the transported goods against mechanical damage and the consumption of material used in packaging. It is also used for less fragile goods, as well as a lightweight alternative to air transport. Casing primarily ensures that the packaged goods do not move, and are stackable during transport or storage.

Casing is usually combined with other measures to protect the products against dust, moisture or corrosion (eg. standard or corrosion resistant films).

The casing design is subject to the same requirements as those for the boxes.PALLETS AND 


FLOORS

Another means of packaging is using wooden pallets, floors, container floors, truck flooring, various kinds of atypical pallets, etc.

Wooden floors are an integral part of transport boxes, and are also used as a stand-alone means of transport packaging. The basic parameters for the production of pallets and floors include the required capacity and type of goods transported, method of handling, and transport.

We produce pallets and floors of different sizes and made from different materials.

Packaging machines

Export Packaging

With flexible project management and individual approach to customers' requirements, we are able to solve complex packaging issues and subsequent transportation in the toughest possible conditions. Our designed and manufactured packaging protects products against adverse influences such as corrosion, shocks, careless handling, climatic conditions, dust, etc., and not only during transportation, but also in the case of long-term storage.


The export packaging process itself, which is supported by a trained team of specialists consists of several consecutive steps:

  1. Initial analysis considering all the requirements of the customer, determining fundamental parameters of the transported product and taking into account possible risks. The analysis also includes information on the mode of transport, final destination, any possible multiple use of packaging, etc.
  2. Data from the initial analysis constitute the basis for a project elaborated in cooperation with experts, which includes an accurate packaging design and description of the packaging process and transport.
  3. Different parts of the packaging are made according to the project.
  4. Strictly according to the elaborated procedure the product is professionally packed to be protected against weather and mechanical damage during transport.
  5. The packaged product is loaded and transported to the place of destination. This step is implemented in cooperation with trusted business partners.
  6. Warranties and guarantees are provided as a matter of course.


Materials used

Export packaging combines a number of materials, each helping to protect the transported product against certain negative effects. A suitable combination of these materials is then to ensure maximum product protection during transport.


  • OSB wooden crates are the most common type of export packaging for items weighing up to about 1 ton. OSB boxes protect products against direct climatic effects such as rain and UV rays. They also prevent mechanical damage to transported objects and facilitate handling; Capable of transport in container or loosely. Allows for outdoor open storage, or even stacking.
  • Wooden shipping frames or wooden crates of beams and planks are used to transport heavy or bulky items weighing up to several tens of tons. They serve primarily to fix the product and ease handling.
  • Metal frames for fixing, anchoring of very heavy objects, when a wood frame is no longer sufficient.
  • Foils constitute a universal, and in terms of application an undemanding long-term corrosion protection of packaged articles. They are used also as a protection against the penetration of moisture and dust in boxes and to the wrapped articles. Foils can be in the form of classic (PE), heat shrink or bubble foils. These foils also protect the product against scratches. Special foils (such as MilCorr®) are suitable for transport and long-term storage in outdoor unprotected conditions and can replace transport boxes. 
  • Barrier foils in combination with desiccants are used as anti-corrosive packaging in which humidity is maintained below about 40% - 45% of relative humidity. Foil wrapping must be tightly applied to prevent penetration of ambient moisture and thus to avoid saturation of the desiccant with concurrent degradation of anti-corrosion properties of the packaging.
  • Preservative anti-corrosion agents (VCI) are used for long-term surface protection or for the protection of surfaces under extreme transport conditions. The corrosion inhibitors contained therein protect the surface also in places of possible minor damage to the preservative coating. Their specific application and type of preservative depends on the shipping and storage conditions, or the ease of preservation removal and subsequent disposal.
  • Desiccants are used wherever it is desirable to reduce the humidity inside the package. The most effective use is in combination with barrier foils, which have very low vapour permeability.
  • Tie straps, such as PP, EPP, PET, PES, fix the products inside or outside the package against mutual displacement during handling and transport. They can also be used as anchoring elements to transport platforms and means of transportation.

We offer a comprehensive system of protection of products against corrosion, which includes the following: anti-corrosion packaging materials, anti-corrosion preservatives, cleaning and degreasing agents, rust removers, anti-corrosion additives, anti-corrosion coatings and migratory corrosion inhibitors.
