To say that people are stressed during the COVID-19 pandemic would be an understatement. The accepted social norms and values, like shaking hands or visiting the elderly, have gone out the window in an effort to stop the spread of disease.
We’re navigating according to new rules, and as a result, decisions about how we behave and the choices we make have become more complex. Understandably, other’s actions are sparking strong emotions and reactions, sometimes referred to as “cancel culture,” making it difficult to talk about at home or in the classroom.
As researchers and innovators, we turn to research to help guide our designing skills and creative thinking to develop solutions that would cater to the need of the hour. Social responsibility helps us be thoughtful about our actions, particularly our actions concerning other people. Our framework for social responsibility, the dimensions of the framework can be used to spark an emphatic, non-judgemental discussion about making choices during a pandemic. Sailing through these winds of the storm we thought of joining hands to comfort those in distress and contribute in whatever way we could touch and soothe humanity. We, at Pack Universe compassionately innovated a unique design out of our existing resources and the result is here. As a token to return to our community where our roots belong we manufactured corrugation beds to make treatment feasible for those who are unable to find beds for the emergency medical services. We continue to support our loyal customers and our employees with utmost caution and safety measures in place.
Humbly, we just want to ensure that in it we stand together and no one should feel that he /she is alone.
